The Meaning Behind Thy Gift Logo
My husband and I named it Thy Gift, a name that points not to ourselves, but to God—the Giver of every good and perfect gift. “Thy” is how we speak to God in prayer—Thy will be done, Thy kingdom come—always recognizing His place in our lives.
The word Gift reminds us of His generosity: our faith, our family, and even this little venture are all gifts from Him. It also reflects the nature of our products—gifts that bring light, peace, and meaning into homes.
I personally handwrote our logo, designing it with prayerful intention and deep symbolism:
- The “T” in Thy is drawn like a cross, representing Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.
- The flowing cursive of Thy reflects the personal, reverent relationship we hold with God.
- The word GIFT is written in bold, strong capital letters.
- The “T” in GIFT resembles the number 7, representing the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.
- And hidden in the “I” of GIFT is a dove and a flame—the dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit, and the flame representing the candle itself, a sign of Christ’s eternal light.
